Inquiries

Begin with an Inquiry

The practice maintains a deliberately limited caseload. Each inquiry is reviewed by Kyle to consider current availability, your location, and whether an initial conversation may be appropriate.

All inquiries are handled with discretion.

03 Acknowledgment

Online delivery is not currently enabled. Do not enter medical records or detailed clinical communication here.

The protected delivery connection is being prepared. Submission will become available after that connection is verified.

Each inquiry is read personally by Kyle W. McEvoy.

Do not submit medical records or clinical details through this form. If an initial consultation is appropriate, further information can be exchanged through the practice's clinical systems.

Submitting an inquiry does not establish a therapist-client relationship. When the practice may be a fit, you will receive an invitation to arrange an initial consultation. In the United States, for urgent or emergency concerns, call 911 or call or text 988.

If you are uninsured or will not use insurance, you have the right to a written Good Faith Estimate when federal rules apply.

The Approach

Strengthening the capacity to understand ourselves and one another, especially when pressure makes that understanding harder to hold, is at the center of the work.

Frequently Asked

What to Expect

Practical details about beginning care, privacy, fees, and the shape of the work.

Are you accepting new clients?

The practice is currently considering select inquiries based on clinical fit, availability, and the level of care required.

What happens during the initial consultation?

The initial consultation is a focused conversation about what brings you to the practice, the support you are seeking, and whether Kyle's approach and scope of care are appropriate for your needs.

What are your fees?

Fees reflect the format, frequency, coordination, and clinical scope of the engagement and are discussed following the initial inquiry. People who are uninsured or will not use insurance receive a written Good Faith Estimate when required by federal law.

Do you accept insurance?

The practice is out of network and does not accept insurance directly. As a courtesy, claims may be submitted on your behalf, and superbills are available for clients seeking out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement depends on the terms of your plan and cannot be guaranteed.

Is reduced-fee care available?

The practice does not maintain a traditional sliding scale. Limited requests related to financial hardship may be considered individually.

How long are sessions?

Most sessions are 40 to 55 minutes. Frequency is determined collaboratively according to clinical need and may change as the work develops. Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours' notice are billed at the full fee.

Do you offer telehealth?

Yes. Kyle offers telehealth to clients physically located in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Florida when legally authorized and clinically appropriate, alongside in-person care in New York City and Westhampton Beach. A client's physical location is confirmed for each telehealth session. In-home care may be considered when clinically appropriate.

How is privacy protected?

Privacy and discretion are fundamental to the practice. Clinical information is used and disclosed only as described in the Notice of Privacy Practices and as permitted or required by applicable law, including limited safety-related circumstances. The limits of confidentiality are reviewed before treatment begins.

Do you work with adolescents?

Yes. Kyle works with adolescents experiencing complex emotional, relational, behavioral, and identity-related concerns. Caregiver involvement is tailored to the adolescent's age, safety, developmental needs, and treatment goals while preserving the privacy necessary for meaningful therapeutic work.

Do you provide urgent or crisis care?

No. This is a scheduled outpatient practice and does not provide emergency or crisis-response services. The inquiry form, email, and Client Portal are not monitored continuously. In the United States, if you or someone close to you is in immediate danger, call 911; for emotional distress or a mental health or substance-use crisis, call or text 988.
